Compacto is a PDF compression app developed by Paul Butterworth, trading as Nerve Films. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

Information We Collect Compacto does not collect, track, or store personal data. We do not require user accounts, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.

User Content All files are processed locally on your Mac. PDFs are never uploaded to external servers. Temporary files created during compression are stored in your system's temporary directory and are automatically deleted.

Third-Party Services Compacto does not use any third-party services.

Crash Reporting If you have enabled "Share Mac Analytics" in your system settings, Apple may provide the developer with anonymised crash reports. These reports do not contain personal information and are provided by Apple under their own privacy policies. Compacto does not operate its own crash reporting systems.

Support If you contact us for support via email, we will receive your email address and any information you choose to include. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry, is not shared with third parties, and is deleted within 30 days.

Data Sharing We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

Children's Privacy Compacto does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Changes This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
